Isn't she adorable?
Sent to me by Lynne in Georgia (thank you, Lynne!)
The bright smile on her little face is my heart's wish for each of the women in Haiti. A bright smile to match the hope for a brighter future.
And wow! So much going on here.
1) Sorting supplies and more supplies. Really, you all are going to spoil the ladies! They will feel blessed beyond measure. If you have plans to send supplies, please go ahead and do so. However, if you haven't begun collecting or purchasing items then it's okay to hold off for now. We are very full for what we'll be distributing in May. Any supplies coming from this point will be distributed later in the Summer. And may I say how proud and humbled I am by your response on this. Truly, deeply grateful.
2) Trip planning. I am scrambling around taking care of all the details involved in planning my trip down in May. So much to do to get ready. So much. So if you have emailed me or contacted me and haven't heard back...please know I am not ignoring you, I just cannot answer every email as promptly as I wish I could. Forgive me in advance.
3) Listing items in the etsy shop. These are going in much more slowly than in the beginning, and that's perfectly fine. It's good to 'clear out' some of the really, really great items that are still in the shop. In fact, I challenge you to go all the way back to the beginning and look through the items. Beautiful mother's day gifts, decor items, jewelry. Lots of great, great items that could be yours with the sale price going to the women of Haiti.
Thank you for continuing to keep these ladies in your thoughts and prayers.
grace & peace to you,
Rebecca

We just closed our yarn drive for Haiti at our church. So I will be sending boxes your way by Saturday at the latest.

Hello! Just a suggestion for the blog. You need to have a "link to us" page with the Haiti by Hand graphic and code for people to link. It helps encourage people to link.
